Brenda's Classes

Are the perfect balance for energetic lives. I encourage gently challenging practices to cultivate an utmost equilibrium of self. I teach people how to discover the value of answering their own path - whether that is a gentler practice or a fuller immersion - using their senses, thoughts and intuition.


Hatha Yoga

Hatha yoga includes postures, meditation and breathing to revitalize yourself: body, mind and spirit. Develop muscle tonie, flexibility, focus, and experience a state of deep relaxation.

Level Two Hatha Yoga

Dedicated insightful sessions in a small class environment for the advancing yogi. Daily personal practice is expected.

Yin Yoga

We take the time necessary in class to address the needs of the deep tissues in the body according to each person's requirements for growth. The asanas are supported with blocks and bolsters so you can relax into the stretch. The focus is on tractioning the joints for long term health.

Yoga for Climbers and Mountain Biking

In everything, balance. Postures are chosen to strengthen the body and address shoulder tension and hip stiffness. We practice each according to our intuition to balance the intensity of rides and climbs. Meditation and breathing are practiced to develop peacefulness, poise and focus.

Mama Yoga

A lovely rejuvenating class for Mothers of young children. Increase energy, reduce stress, remove tension from the neck, arms and shoulders and strengthen the legs and core.

Classes held later in the day so sleeping angels don't even know that Mom has made a getaway.

Thursdays 8:10 pm - 9:45 pm (or a bit later, if we stay for tea) in Deep Cove.

Prenatal Yoga

Practice comfortable asana, breathing, toning and meditation to build physical confidence, develop te intuitive process and promote ease for birth.

Couples Birth Preparation Workshops

Breathe, relax and stretch together. Develop practical skills to suport the natural process of labour for birthing moms and their partners. Workshops held in Deep Cove or by private arrangement.
